Linebacker L.J. Fort signs two-year extension through 2012 with the Ravens.
He was released by the Eagles on September 27 and signed onto the Ravens 53-man September 30.  He will play in his fourth game as a Raven on Sunday.

"We've been talking about it for a week now, so I'm glad to get things done and move forward."

He was happy to extend his stay here in Baltimore and how the Ravens handle business.

"How authentic it is.  Everything is real.  The coaches are real about everything.  Everything is real.  The coaches are real about everything.  You don't have to wonder what's going on, what going on, what people are thinking. That's probably my favorite part about being here, just how real everybody is."

Through the first four games of the season with the Eagles, Fort saw most of his action on special teams totaling just two tackles. His debut with the Ravens was in the overtime win in Pittsburgh where he made one special teams tackle.  He made his first career start as a Raven in the 23-17 win against the Bengals where he had two tackles and one pass deflect.  In the win against Seattle he saw a season-high of 56 snaps on defense and 23 snaps of special teams.  He had one sack, one quarterback-hit, and two tackles-for-loss in the win against Seattle.  He had three total tackles in the most recent win against the Patriots.
