The Baltimore Orioles enter the MLB Midsummer Classic on a high note, winning two of three games against the Texas Rangers at home.

While it may be a break for the team, a lot is expected to be changing in the clubhouse within the coming weeks. The trade rumors surrounding shortstop Manny Machado only continue to heighten and recent reports from ESPN’s Buster Olney suggested that the Phillies, Dodgers, and Brewers are likely the final suitors.

Machado and the Orioles were unable to agree to a long-term deal before the season. And given the struggles this season along with Machado set to his free agency this summer, the Orioles are expected to be heavy sellers at the trade deadline.

Following yesterday’s win, Manny spoke with Jim Hunter and Ben McDonald, in what may be his last post-game interview in an Orioles uniform.

“Not really,” Machado said when asked if he thought about Sunday’s game being his last at Camden Yards. “You know, you try to just take it all in and always enjoy the moment … it’s always been a blessing, coming here to Camden Yards every day and playing.”

Machado is a generational talent and has continued to tear the cover off the baseball this season, sporting a .315/387/.575 slash line. He's provided many fantastic highlight plays on both sides of the plate throughout his time in Baltimore.

Nothing is official yet, but the writing is on the wall and professional sports are a business.

Machado and everyone who follows baseball understands there’s a good chance he’s sporting different colors following the All-Star break, or soon after the July 31st deadline.
