It was a busy weekend in Major League Baseball as we had tempers flaring in San Francisco, a record setting day in San Diego and a strange situation in the Dominican Republic.

Scott & Jeremy "Rounded The Bases" today by recapping the top headlines. They ran down the current state of the AL East and whether or not the Orioles will finish the year with the worst record in their division or not.

They talked about Madison Bumgarner and Max Muncy talking trash to each other after Muncy sent a homerun ball into the Pacific Ocean. Was Madison Bumgarner right for complaining about how Muncy admired his homerun ball?

The Nationals became the first major league team to hit back-to-back-to-back-to-back homeruns multiple times as Howie Keindrick, Trea Turner, Adam Eaton and Anthony Rendon accomplished that feat this weekend.

The guys also discussed David Ortiz getting shot in his home country, the Dominican Republic. Was it a mistake of identity? Possibly an assassination attempt? Scott & Jeremy talked about those possibilities.
