It looks like the Joe Flacco era in Baltimore is officially coming to an end. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Ravens have a trade in place to send Joe Flacco to the Broncos.

Flacco has been the starting quarterback for the Ravens for the better part of the last 11 years. He led the team to 5 straight playoff appearances in his first 5 seasons, capped off by his magical run in the 2012 playoffs where he became just the second player in NFL history to throw 11 touchdowns with no interceptions in the playoffs. Joining another "January Joe", Joe Montana.

Joe has dealt with knee, back and most recently hip injuries in the past few seasons. That hip injury in Week 9's matchup with the Steelers eventually led to Lamar Jackson getting the starting job and literally running away with it.

This move will help the Ravens save 10.5 million dollars in cap space and now Joe has found a new team that will give him another chance to be a teams starting QB. Regardless of how his time as the Ravens QB ended, the city of Baltimore will never forget the season he helped bring the second Lombardi trophy in franchise history back to Baltimore.
