The Baltimore Ravens have needs to fill on the offensive line, but lost in translation from last season was the play of Matt Skura.

The former undrafted center played every offensive snap for the Ravens last season and now he’s getting paid like it.

Skura earned the highest combined distribution of all NFL players in the 2018 Performance-Based pay program.

Skura earned $533,588 from the program. They may not seem like much, until you realize he nearly doubled his entire salary.

Skura was tasked with a challenge replacing Ryan Jensen, who left to become the league’s highest-paid center with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the time.

The Ravens averages 152.6 rushing yards per game last season and Skura’s durability on the offensive line played an impact.

It’s an impressive feat for the young center and he shared his appreciation on social media.

Skura’s versatility to play at the guard and center positions will make him a valuable piece moving forward next season.
