The No. 8 is universally recognized in Camden Yards but on Wednesday night, another No. 8 stole the show.

Ravens' quarterback Lamar Jackson threw the first pitch out at the Orioles-Nationals game, along with former Maryland safety and first-round pick, Darnell Savage.

After a brief rain delay and some warm-ups, Jackson finally got his opportunity and he nailed it.

A strike!

Savage's first pitch? Let's not get into that...

As Jackson and the rest of the Ravens' roster report to training camp next Wednesday, it was great to see Jackson at Camden Yards. He got a nice ovation from the crowd, and even paid his respects to Cal Ripkin Jr's legacy.

Jackson just gets it, and the anticipation is building with the regular season just seven weeks away from today.
