This is not a typo. The Orioles won a shutout.

Baltimore defeated the Nationals 3-0 Wednesday night in Washington.

Mark Trumbo’s two-run homerun in the second inning proved to be all that wa necessary against the Nats.

Danny Valencia added to the lead with a sacrifice fly to make the lead 3-0.

The Orioles pitching had a tremendous outing, as Andrew Cashner started the game. Due to a rain delay, he pitched four solid innings allowing just three hits.

The bullpen stepped up as they pitched five innings, striking out seven batters and allowing just two total hits.

The Orioles play the Nats in the rubber-game Thursday night, looking to get their second straight win and take the series.
