For Joe Flacco supporters, good news is on its way to Baltimore.

Quarterback Tom Flacco, brother of Ravens Joe Flacco, is transferring to Towson University. The Towson faithful is all too familiar with the Ravens, who play just 30 minutes away.

Flacco originally played at Western Michigan, where he totaled just 188 passing yards and a touchdown. He rushed for 266 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground his freshman year. After two seasons, he transferred to Rutgers as a walk-on though sat out the entire season due to NCAA transfer rules.

His latest transfer to Towson will prove just as tough for Flacco, as he’ll need to compete for the starting position. Redshirt sophomore Ryan Stover as well as freshman Jeff Miller will be in direct competition with Flacco, who has just as much to prove.

Flacco graduated this year and has two years of eligibility as a graduate transfer for Towson.

Safe to say the pressure is on both Flacco brothers to produce and prove this season.
