Will Return Next Season Regardless

Ravens great Terrell Suggs wrapped up his 16th season Sunday in a 23-17 loss to the Chargers.

Suggs, who finished his last year of his contract, spoke on his plans for the future.

Surely he had plenty of juice in the tank this year, as he compiled at least seven sacks for his past five seasons.

He ranked fourth on the team with 744 defensive snaps. With 13 tackles for loss and 15 quarterback hits, the Ravens should want to bring back his production.

Suggs did mention to reporters that if the Ravens doesn’t resign him, we haven’t seen the last of #55.

It would be unfortunate seeing Suggs line up for another ball club. His 132.5 sacks rank 13th in NFL history, tied with Giants great Lawrence Taylor.

The Ravens have a huge decision to make, as the culture and direction appear to be changing with Lamar Jackson. We’ll have to wait and see whether Baltimore believes Suggs fits into those plans or not.

One thing is for sure. If the Ravens want Suggs back, he’ll be back.
