Sources Link Dolphins to Potential Harbaugh Trade

All season long, there have been reports about AFC North Champions head coach John Harbaugh. Will he be let go? Will he be extended? Would he sign an extension?

Since he is under contract until after the 2019 season, Harbaugh will reportedly wait out on any extensions offered. The idea is that Harbaugh could wait out his contract in pursuit of a better contract, with a team that truly wants him.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Miami Dolphins are expected to pursue a trade for Coach Harbaugh. Miami fired head coach Adam Gase Monday after the Dolphins missed the postseason again.

How much would it take?

It is extremely difficult to guess what it would take to acquire Harbaugh. After all he is a Super Bowl winning coach and has led the Ravens to great postseason success. One would figure that the Ravens would want one, if not two firsts in a trade.

After a 4-5 start to the season, many reports claimed that the Ravens and Harbaugh would part ways after the season ended.

With Lamar Jackson and a new hitch in the Ravens step, Baltimore won six of their last seven games and clinched the North. Among the smoke, Harbaugh and the Ravens get set to host the Chargers in the first round of the playoffs.
