Ravens Linebackers Appear Ready For Sunday

As the Ravens gear up for the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, they should be getting more help on the defensive end.

Middle linebacker CJ Mosley injured his knee in the Ravens loss to Cincinnati nearly two weeks ago. After missing last week’s game against the Broncos, Mosley appears to be ready to return.

Mosley almost played against the Broncos though it wouldn’t have been at 100%. Mosley was a full participant at Thursday’s practice.

The Ravens need all their weapons when facing a team as talented as Pittsburgh. The Steelers rank 3rd in total offense, generating 453.3 yards per game. Fortunately, the Ravens rank 1st in total defense, allowing just 273 yards per game. Mosley will surely impact which side gains the edge Sunday night.

Additionally, the sight of a Terrell Suggs “DNP” worried many Wednesday. Although he hasn’t practiced this week, it’s hard to imagine Suggs sitting out for this game.

Including both regular season and postseason, Suggs has feasted on the Steelers. He has compiled 20 sacks, 43 tackles for loss, as well as three interceptions.

Safe to say both Mosley and Suggs will be good to go this Sunday. As this is great news for the Ravens, Pittsburgh should truly be worried.
