Ravens Announce Role Changes in Front Office Under Eric DeCosta

With his first NFL Draft as General Manager in the books, Eric DeCosta is settled in for the full swing of the offseason. Yesterday, the Baltimore Ravens announced role changes in the front office under DeCosta. 

Per a release from the team, Pat Moriarty is the new Senior Vice President of Football Operations. Joe Hortiz and George Kokinis will serve as Directors of Player Personnel. Chad Alexander will serve as Assistant Director of Pro & College Personnel, while Mark Azevedo will work as the Player Personnel Coordinator. 

Other notable roles include former Ravens' linebacker Jameel McClain, who will now serve as Director of Player Engagement. He formerly worked in the organization as the Assitant Director of Player Engagement. Vince Newsome will serve as Senior Player Personnel Executive, David McDonald will be the Director of Research and Development, Joey Cleary is the Northeast Area Scout, Nick Matteo will be the Director of Football Administration and Sara Snyder will serve as the Director of Sports Nutrition. 

After stepping down from the role of general manager, Ozzie Newsome will officially serve as Executive Vice President. 

One of the league's most highly regarded front office remains that way. And it's an extremely exciting time for the Ravens as the enter a new era led by DeCosta in the front office and young stars on the field with Lamar Jackson.
