After being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Ravens great Ray Lewis will be getting a parade in Baltimore next week.

As announced by Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh, the parade will begin at 10 am September 22nd at Key Highway and Light St. The parade will go towards City Hall, where both Lewis and Pugh will speak. The event is a day before the Ravens take on the Denver Broncos, where Lewis will receive his Hall of Fame Ring.

Lewis’ excellence doesn’t need to be stated. The two-time Super Bowl champion played his entire career with Baltimore, beginning in the Ravens inaugural season.

Although Lewis retire in 2012, his impact within Baltimore has not faltered. The Ray Lewis 52 Foundation is still influencing the youth around the community.

The event is free. So come out and support one of Baltimore’s greatest athletes.
