The Orioles haven’t shown much to be happy about. Losers of the past 10 games, the Orioles snapped their longest losing streak since 2010.

Orioles pitcher Andrew Cashner has been one of the lone bright spots as he went six innings to record his seventh win on the season. Cahsner received some much needed help behind him, as players such as Richie Martin flashed the leather the entire game.

Jonathan Villar blasted a three-run home run in the 3rd inning to give the Orioles a 3-1 lead.

While Cashner dealt, the O’s gained a cushion when Anthony Santander hit his second homerun on the season. Santander’s two-run home run pushed the O’s lead to 5-1.

Hanser Alberto broke the game wide open as a two-run single gave the Orioles a commanding 8-2 lead in the 8th inning.

Baltimore plays the final game of their four-game set with Seattle Sunday at 4pm. The O’s will look to split the series, before hosting Manny Machado and the San Diego Padres.
