Orioles Ready to Host Tampa Bay

After winning their first series of May, the Orioles look to keep the momentum going as they gear up for the Tampa Bay Rays. After losing to them twice in late-April, the O’s will have a four-game set to gain some ground in the AL East.

Kevin Gausman will be on the mound Friday night as he’s coming off a phenomenal game against the A’s. He pitched nine scoreless innings in a no-decision, a game which the Orioles eventually lost.

With the O’s bats starting to come around they’ll look to exploit Jake Faria, who will get the start for Tampa Bay. The Rays (15-19) have lost six of their last ten games and are starting their 11-game road trip in Baltimore.

The O’s (10-27) are looking for ways to stay relevant and stay above water in the AL East, as the Red Sox and Yankees appear to be in a league of their own.

Baltimore will have a quick turnaround after Friday’s game, as they have a double-header Saturday which begins at 3:05 pm.
