Bengals receiver AJ Green has been injured all season and can explain Cincinnati’s winless record.

The Ravens will travel to face the 0-8 Bengals in a division matchup with an unfamiliar feeling. The Ravens are coming off an impressive 37-20 victory over New England and on an upward trajectory.

Meanwhile, the Bengals are coming off a bye week after their 24-10 loss to the Rams in London. Shortly after, the Bengals announced that franchise quarterback Andy Dalton had been benched for rookie quarterback Ryan Finley.

With a new look, the Bengals would ideally pair Green with Finley to see the rookie’s full potential.

After head coach Zac Taylor stated that Green would make his first appearance against the Ravens, he revised his statements after Wednesday’s practice.

Even with Green listed as day-to-day, the Ravens are preparing for Green regardless of his participation in practice and for good reason.

Green has torched the Ravens during his eight season with Cincinnati, totaling 53 catches for 886 yards and nine touchdowns. Green’s most notable game came last season when he tallied three touchdowns in a Week 2 win.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh spoke on Green’s excellence ahead of the potential matchup.

Whether or not Green plays, the Ravens are the clear favorite. With the Ravens new and improved secondary, defending Green or any other Bengals receivers should be an entertaining battle.
