Amidst the Orioles rebuild, fans will get the opportunity to watch marquee prospect Adley Rutschman.

Per Jon Morosi of MLB Network, Rutschman will begin his the 2019 in Orioles spring training.

The Orioles selected Rutschman 1st overall in the 2019 MLB Draft. Although the highly-touted catcher may not make the Opening Day roster, fans will get to see a glimpse of his talented skillset.

Rutschman signed an $8.1 million signing bonus, the highest ever in MLB history.

The 21-year old phenom showed a tendency to get on base during his time at Oregon State. While enrolled, he batted .411, 17 home runs, and earned 76 walks in just 57 games.

Rutschman will provide a look at the future in Baltimore when he makes his debut in Sarasota.

While catchers Pedro Severino and Chance Sisco are expected to make the Opening Day roster, there is no doubt that the future of the position is intended to be the #1 overall pick.
