The Ravens have done plenty in free agency to add to talent to their receiving core, but the loss of one particular receiver may have more of an impact than many would think.

Michael Campanaro has signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans.

Campanaro never established himself as a premier receiver for Flacco and the offense, however there’s no denying the talent is there. Campanaro made his name as a return man in Baltimore, as he set a career high in punt return yards and attempts in 2017.

Injuries have riddled Campanaro’s young career, though he’ll have a chance to prove his durability in a new environment.

The Ravens haven’t lost a player who would have been a mainstay in the lineup, yet they lost much needed depth and a promising returner.

The additions of Michael Crabtree and John Brown, as well as the pursuit of multiple other receivers, gave Baltimore the security to let Campanaro walk.

The Silver Spring native was drafted by Baltimore in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Perhaps in a new system, Campanaro's potential will be at full display.
