Coming off the bye week, the Ravens received some good news.

The Ravens designated cornerback Maurice Canady from the IR, allowing up to three weeks for the Ravens to add him back to the active roster.

After playing in the season opener against the Bills, the Ravens place Canady on the IR for a thigh injury. Even then, coach John Harbaugh mentioned that the injury wouldn't be season-ending.

Canady's young career has been derailed by injuries. He has spent a majority of his first three seasons on the IR, sustaining a hamstring injury in 2016 and started last season on with a knee injury.

He impressed this offseason which allowed him to make the 53-man roster. Canady recorded two tackles in the 47-3 win over Buffalo in the season opener.
