Lamar Jackson Didn’t Practice Thursday

Sat out with Stomach Illness

The confusion in Baltimore became even stranger Thursday afternoon at Ravens practice.

With quarterback Joe Flacco having sat out the past two weeks of practice, many expected rookie Lamar Jackson to be running with the first-team. Although that was the plan, Jackson sat out Thursday with an apparent stomach illness.

Robert Griffin III substituted in and ran the first team in preparation for Cincinnati while Flacco and Jackson sat out.

It is an odd time in Baltimore, as the quarterback position has had a level of security for nearly a decade in Flacco.

With a huge game upcoming against the Bengals, the only thing that matters is that the Ravens secure a win. Whether it’s Flacco, Jackson, or Griffin III, the Ravens season can sink or swim after Sunday.

Stay tuned for more updates before Baltimore hosts the Bengals.
