Less than a week before roster cuts become official, the Baltimore Ravens have traded linebacker Kamalei Correa to the Tennessee Titans for a 2019 sixth-round draft pick.

It’s the end to a disappointing two-year campaign in Baltimore for the former second-round pick.

Correa appeared in just four games over two seasons and struggled to find consistent playing time on the field. Naturally a pass rusher, he was used interchangeably at inside and outside linebacker and was considered a roster bubble player heading into the offseason.

Correa’s best performance came in the Ravens’ Hall of Fame matchup against the Chicago Bears in early August. He recorded six total tackles, three sacks, one interception and two passes defended.

With a plethora of young pass rush talent in Matt Judon, Za’Darius Smith, Tim Williams and Tyus Bowser, it would have been difficult for Correa to see much playing time this season. He’ll now campaign for a roster spot with a familiar face in defensive coordinator Dean Pees.
