Running back Alex Collins has endured a rough couple of months.

Collins, 24, was drafted in 2016 by the Seattle Seahawks. His success in the league saw an increase after he signed with the Ravens in 2017.

The Ravens released Collins in March following a car crash which led to Collins’ arrest. During the accident, Collins is under trial for gun and drug charges.

As he geared up to make his NFL return, more sad news has surfaced about the 24-year old running back in an Instagram post.

Theirs is no saying how Collins’ broke his leg, but his Instagram post out the last few months into his perspective.

In his Ravens career, Collins ran for 1,384 yards and 13 touchdowns. His 4.2 yards per carry would have surely intrigued a number of teams in free agency, but the latest news may see Collins out for much of the 2019 season.

The Ravens will move forward with free-agent signing Mark Ingram, as well as Gus Edwards, Kenneth Dixon, and rookie Justice Hill.

As for Collins, we all hope to see him back on the football field. The only question is when will we see him next.
