The Orioles lost 4-3 Tuesday night in Tampa Bay via a walk off.

Alex Cobb got the start for Baltimore and delivered a solid outing. Over seven innings, he allowed just five hits and one earned run.

The run came in the 1st inning, when Rays first baseman hit an RBI single to give Tampa an early 1-0 lead.

Baltimore responded in the 4th inning when Tim Beckham smacked a solo homerun.

In the 5th inning, red hot Trey Mancini hit a solo homerun of his own to give the O's a 2-1 lead.

Mark Trumbo added an insurance run in the 6th to extend the lead to 3-1.

Tampa Bay fought back in the 8th as a wild pitch and a fielder’s choice tied the game at 3-3.

In the bottom of the 9th inning, Willy Adames walked the Rays off with a solo homerun off of Miguel Castro. The loss was Castro's sixth on the season, as the reliever is now 2-6 in 2018.

After losing the first game, the O's have two more games in Tampa Bay before heading to going to Baltimore to host the Red Sox.
