With the NBA Draft days away, teams around the league are looking to make trades. Whether it’s adding draft picks or clearing cap space, a number of trades should be seen this within the following days.

The Brooklyn Nets made the first splash of the 2018 season as they traded for star center Dwight Howard.

Howard had his best scoring season since the 2014 season, as he’s scored 16.6 points last year with Charlotte. Howard also averaged an astounding 12.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.

The former three-time Defensive Player of the Year will be a welcome addition to the young Nets franchise, who has struggled in recent years.

Brooklyn has the cap space for two perennial stars though it’s unlikely they would sign there. The Nets have won just 69 games over the past three seasons combined.

Although Mozgov is more of a cap casualty and less talent, the Hornets received two second round picks and helps their cause to get younger.
