Finally, there’s something to be cheering about!

The Baltimore Orioles secured their second straight win with a 1-0 victory over the Mets in Citi Field Wednesday night.

The game was a pitching duel through seven innings as Dylan Bundy went head-to-head with Mets pitcher Zach Wheeler.

Bundy went seven scoreless innings allowing just three hits and striking out five batters. Wheeler silenced the Orioles’ bats, as they were held to just three hits.

Thankfully due to the national league rules, the Mets replaced Wheeler with Jose Bautista as a pinch-runner. Wheeler’s night was done and the O’s finally had a chance to breakthrough against the Mets bullpen.

After a pair of singles, Manny Machado hit a sacrifice fly to give the Orioles a 1-0 lead. What can’t Machado do?

Richard Bleier had a 1-2-3 inning in the 8th and Brad Brach sealed the deal for his 10th save on the season.

The O’s head off to Toronto for a four-game set against the Blue Jays.
